Too good to be true. We hear that a lot.
We all have a friend or family member who has hopped from job to job
and each time lost their healthcare coverage. Or they have more than
one job but don't qualify for healthcare. This is what we have worked
to fix. We believe if you work one job or 4, you should have access to
employer healthcare money. We believe all employers want to contribute
to healthcare coverage for all their workers but have been held hostage
by the protocols of today's health insurance system.
We are offering the marketplace a new opportunity: employer
healthcare contributions from multiple employers. No more full-time job
requirement, plus health insurance that is portable job to job. We are
switching the ownership of healthcare from the employer to the
employee. We believe a person or family can best decide which
healthcare insurance is best for them... not an employer or our
government. We believe money provided by the employer for healthcare
should allow the person who earned it to spend it how they want.
Previously, if you were lucky to have employer based healthcare, you
had to accept the type of policy dictated by the employer. One size
fits all. That doesn't work. People are all different. Employees and
families have different needs. Healthcare should not be chosen by
anyone but you.
