Once a month, Todd Smith from Cairncross & Hempelmann will be at StartPad to answer licensing and tech transaction questions:

  • General license agreements
  • distribution models (including OEM, VAR, syndication, etc.)
  • Software as a Service / ASP models
  • Cloud Computing legal concepts and terms
  • Digital media rights and distribution deals
  • Marketing agreements, “associate” and other referral models
  • Development, consulting and other services agreements
  • Nondisclosure agreements
