Previously as software developer and operations principal, Daniel has built each of the various pieces for a large scale web site and its business: from drafting business plans to building an internet service provider; designing user interaction behavior in web browsers to managing data-flow within back-end distributed services; database development to content development; integrating with existing software & services to building custom web server engines for high performance or unique topologies.
Daniel started programming professionally in 1986 with accomplishments including cutting-edge distributed systems research during early days of non-military virtual reality (1990-93), deep Unix systems administration on Wall Street (1994-95), key contributions at IBM's Web Hosting group for developing their original Universal Server Farm (1996-99), wore many hats at large and small Internet start-ups (1999-2007) as well as performed brief security consulting for VW/Audi's dealer extranet (2003Q4) and web sites of NOAA.gov (2007Q3).
