I am a career sales and marketing professional from the financial services field, interested in all things startup. I was born, raised and educated on the east coast (New York City > Connecticut and Vermont), and I have worked for both large companies (such as Chase and Lehman Brothers) and small. I lived and worked in Asia for 10 years and my most conspicuous startup success story was co-founding TIR Securities in Hong Kong- an institutional securities trading business that was ultimately acquired by E*Trade. I volunteer for the Think Tank committee at Northwest Entrepreneur Network, and am leading the effort to bring Startup Weekend back to Seattle on February 6.
