Background:
Mr. Berg has more than 15 years experience in corporate finance as a venture capitalist, angel investor, investment banker, and attorney. Prior to joining Broadmark he was president and principal of DigitalOffering, Inc. a FINRA broker-dealer and was head of the firm’s investment banking department. In addition, Mr. Berg was a capital member of Raven Ventures and a member of the executive team for The RedChip Group of Companies, which included a large money management firm; special situation hedge funds; venture capital funds; an independent sell-side research firm; and an investor relations firm.

Other Activities:
Mr. Berg also has experience in public service; Governor Christine Gregoire appointed him to the board of directors of the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority, and has been appointed to the Legislative Committee of the Washington State Bar Association.

Mr. Berg received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California Berkeley, a J.D. cum laude jointly from Willamette University College of Law and New York University School of law; and his LL.M(Taxation) from New York University School of Law. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA registrations and as an undergraduate, was a member of the University of California Berkeley’s intercollegiate swim team.
